1. 1996 or newer must switch over the coolant crossover/thermostat housing and low pressure injector return line assembly from original engine.
2. Cannot be used for 1994 applications with heavy duty injection Pump Stanadyne # DS4831-5068 or GM # 10225929.
3. To verify 6.5L vs. 6.2L applications, locate the casting number on rear driver's side of block above flywheel housing. The following is an all-inclusive list of 6.5L block cast numbers: 10149599, 12552929,
10237141, 12555506.
All GM 6.5L Long Block Supremes shipped with a 3/8" oil cooler line adaptor.
4. Oil cooler line orifce drilled to 1/2", shipped with a 3/8" oil cooler line adaptor.
5. When replacing a 1982 engine, must replace original coarse thread injectors with fine thread injectors.

Notes:
Complete VIN number needed to identify correct part number.
All 6.5L engines require the installation of a new oil cooler. Warranty will be void if new oil cooler is not installed.
